YouTube launches APP for children to ensure healthy content

Youtube, the world's largest video website, has officially launched a new version of the children's app.

Instead of using algorithms to recommend content, the new version will be whitelisted and filtered by the human workforce.

At the same time, the new App will drop some inappropriate content on Filter, and the video in the children's version of App will be strictly restricted.

According to a report by Business Insider last month, YouTube Kids App recommended that children watch inappropriate videos about the shape of the earth, lunar landings and the existence of aliens, which are misleading and spread "conspiracy theories".

YouTube has been working hard to create a better viewing environment for children.

For example, it removes advertisements from many videos, limits the age of some marked content, increases the number of moderators, and strengthens supervision.

To clear up misleading information, YouTube also announced last month that it would use Wikipedia to check the facts of the video.
